How to Make a Complaint to the ICO

No one wishes to be in the position where they need to complain about a Data Protection issue, but unfortunately the likelihood of being affected by a Data Breach or improper use of personal data is high.
If you are concerned that your personal data may have been compromised, or you believe that someone is misusing your data (e.g. to send spam emails or phone calls) then the ICO's complaints processes can be found on their website here: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/
If your data has been used in a crime, or you suspect it has, then the ICO clearly states that this is a matter for the police.
